About the Event: The holiday season begins with a chill in the air and a twinkle in every eye. When December arrives, light displays appear, peppermint candy canes are unwrapped, and families look forward to celebrating the season's spirit with friends and neighbors. Friendsville is "a place where friends gather," where community, tradition, generosity, and so much joy, from Friendsville Elementary carolers singing your favorite Christmas songs to the life story of Jesus' birth to delight every one of all ages. Our Christmas parade will have you cheering! Then, in the evening, you will fill your eyes with dazzling lights, your imagination with wonder, your stomach with delicious holiday food, and your spirit with the season's joy.
Celebration Day: Our Holiday Festival is a yearly event in the City on the first Saturday in December.
