Facility Information
It is a 1,115-square-foot brick building. It includes an approximately 875-square-foot event room, a 240-square-foot kitchen area, and a restroom. The center is available for all activities and recreational events, such as informational classes and exercise. In addition, the facility is accessible to disabled individuals. Ten 6-foot tables and 50 folding chairs are available for use.
Address: 105 Homecoming Circle, Friendsville, TN 37737 Hours: Monday -Friday, based on class times.
Community Center Update
In 2024, the Board of Mayor and Commissioners made the decision to discontinue private rentals of the Community Center. Since the building was remodeled in 2019, the City has had to make repeated repairs to damage caused during rentals. In addition, the facility does not have space for a City employee to remain on-site during private events, which is necessary to help protect the building.
While it is unfortunate that we can no longer offer the Community Center for private rental use, the building remains an important space for community activities. At this time, the Community Center continues to host classes and other City-approved programs.

In her senior year of high school, she retired from her athletic career early after breaking her back. While recovering from her injury, she fell in love with Pilates. Later, she graduated with her degree in Exercise and Sports Science and continued to work in the fitness industry for 10 years until having her son by an emergency C-section. Pilates has allowed Quianna to return to fitness after injuries, pregnancy, and surgeries, rebuilding the strength she feared she had lost.

Prayer in the Square
Uniting Churches, Lifting Our City in Prayer
Each month, members of the Friendsville community gather in the grassy area next to City Hall for a special time of unity, reflection, and prayer. Prayer in the Square brings together local churches and community members from all walks of life with one purpose: to pray over our city, neighbors, and leaders.
This event reminds us that we are stronger together in a world that often feels divided. Pastors, leaders, and members from multiple congregations lead heartfelt prayers for our schools, first responders, government officials, families, and businesses. Residents are encouraged to join in lifting up their voices, or simply stand in quiet agreement, as we seek peace, healing, and direction for our city.
Prayer in the Square is not about any one church or denomination. It is a community-led, Christ-centered event focused on unity, compassion, and hope. Whether you're part of a local congregation or simply someone who believes in the power of prayer, you are welcome here.
We invite you to come as you are, join hands with your neighbors, and be a part of something meaningful as we pray for the heart of Friendsville.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Bible Study
"Origins of Belief: From Genesis to Revelation."
Sponsored by River Oaks Clover Hill, this group explores the foundations of faith, what we believe, why we believe it, and how it shapes our lives. The sessions are designed to be informative and interactive, a space to ask questions, seek answers, encourage one another, and grow in community.
It doesn't matter whether you've been a lifelong churchgoer or have never stepped inside a church, whether you know the Bible well or are just beginning to explore.
Join us on the last Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM, for a Bible study discussion group:
There’s a place for you here.
We hope to see you there!
